Huddersfield's Daniel Lloyd has said he is targeting podium finishes in rounds 11 and 12 of the Ginetta Junior Championship this weekend. The 16-year-old is currently third in the drivers' standings as he prepares to race around the Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire. "I have done a couple of driving days at Croft before so I'm feeling pretty confident," said Lloyd. "We will be able to be on the pace quite quickly." The Huddersfield Grammar School student added: "It's a good circuit, a proper driver's circuit, so I'm really looking forward to the races which should be a lot of fun. Following a test session on Friday the competitors will qualify on Saturday before the first of the weekend's races at 1715 BST.  | 2008 Ginetta Junior Championship 1st Dino Zamparelli, 320pts 2nd Thomas Carnaby, 232pts 3rd Daniel Lloyd, 183pts | Race two is timetabled to commence at approximately 1350 BST on Sunday. "As always, qualifying will be very important but we seem to be getting on top of that a bit more as the season progresses. "If I can start both races from the first couple of rows that would be fantastic but even if we're fifth or sixth on the grid, I'm confident we'll be able to race strongly," explained Lloyd.
