Dario Franchitti will miss the final race of the Indy Racing League (IRL) season after crashing a vintage Jaguar at the Goodwood Revival festival. The Scot suffered concussion in the crash, which occurred last Friday.
AJ Foyt IV will replace Franchitti for the Andretti Green racing team at Sunday's Chicagoland Indy 300.
"It's unfortunate that Dario won't be able to drive, but we're confident that Anthony will do a great job for us," said team owner Michael Andretti.
"He's got a lot of natural talent and we're hoping to give him a fast car."
Franchitti is eight in the IRL points standings and is out of contention for the title.
