Lopez cruised to an easy win |
DAMS driver Jose Maria Lopez led from the start to win the weekend's second GP2 Series race in Barcelona. British Formula Three champion Nelson Piquet Jr finished second after pushing Northern Ireland's Adam Carroll into a spin and down to sixth on the last lap.
Scott Speed kept his title challenge on course with third while Williams F1 test driver Nico Rosberg was fourth.
Speed had finished second behind Gianmaria Bruni in Saturday's first race, with Heikki Kovalainen third.
Kovalainen and Speed are now level on 20 points, with Bruni on 18 and Lopez 17.
Carroll's sixth place, which followed a battling seventh on Saturday, left him on 13 points.
The Super Nova driver, who won race two at Imola two weeks ago, started at the front of the grid in the second race.
And he gesticulated angrily at Piquet Jr, son of the three-time world champion, on the slowing-down lap.
Scotland's Ryan Sharp, who had retired nine laps from the end of race one, finished 16th in race two.
