England's Dan Wheldon stretched his Indy Racing League title advantage to 90 points despite having to settle for third place in Sunday's Kentucky race. He led for many of the 300 miles but faded when Andretti Green team-mates Tony Kanaan and Dario Franchitti retired with suspension problems.
Wheldon, who has just five races to go, said: "It was a good result but it was a shame my team-mates didn't finish.
"But I think from a championship standpoint, it doesn't look too bad."
