 McRae won two stages on his Dakar Rally debut this year |
Former world champion Colin McRae is to make a second attempt to win the trans-Saharan Dakar Rally next year. The Scot has re-signed with the Nissan team, for whom he impressed on his Dakar debut this season.
McRae said: "I have no reason to doubt I can win the Dakar with Nissan. We've already started talking about how we can improve the car for next year."
McRae won two stages on the 2004 Dakar but finished 20th after car problems left him stranded in the desert.
