Williams delivers his the championship winning throw

Cornish youngster Locryn Williams has been crowned the Under-14 National Independent Schools Judo Champion.

Williams won all four of his fights in the Under-73kg category at the High Wycombe Judo Centre, beating William Long in the final.

The 14-year-old also recorded victories over Tom Shakespeare, Josh Stevens and JJ Bute on his way to the win.

Williams, who is a pupil at Truro School, is a green belt in the sport.
