![]() | BBC US Masters coverage ![]() Vijay Singh is crowned 2000 Masters champ by Olazabal Coverage of the US Masters begins on Thursday 5 April from 2100BST on BBC Two. BBC Sport will be providing viewers with live coverage of all four days of the US Masters in Augusta, the first Major tournament of the year. Tiger Woods will start as favourite as he bids to become the first golfer to hold all four Majors at the same time. Among those attempting to deprive him are defending champion Vijay Singh, Ernie Els, runner-up at three Majors last year, as well as Lee Westwood and Colin Montgomerie, who have dominated the European rankings in recent years.
Coverage will be broadcast from 2100BST on the first day of competition, 5 April, on BBC Two, continuing on BBC One between 2235 and 2325BST. Friday's action will be broadcast at the same times, after which, weather permitting, viewers will know those competitors to have made it throught the cut and into the final two days. Saturday's action is rounded up between 2030-2300BST on BBC Two. And you can watch what is almost guaranteed to be a thrilling climax to this prestigious tournament on Sunday 8 April from 2100BST onwards on BBC Two. Five Live Radio Five Live has coverage of the first round in Sport on Five with Ian Payne and Louise Minchin from 1900-2200 BST on 5 April. And round two will be reviewed in Sport on Five on 6 April between 1900-2200BST. As the competition hots up, Five Live will bring updates and reports in Sport on Five with Mark Pougatch between 1230-1800BST on Saturday 7 April. And there is a dedicated two-and-a-half-hour programme presented by Tony Adamson bringing live coverage between 2100BST and 2330BST on Saturday. Sport On Five has coverage throughout the day between 1230-1800BST on Sunday 9 April - and has three hours of live coverage between 2100BST and 0030BST as the tournament draws to a close.
