Jonny Wilkinson's injury not as bad as feared

It was a bit sore but nothing to stop me from playing on.

The check-up was just a precautionary thing.

The situation with Jonny Wilkinson is not as bad as was initially feared.

He had a suspected broken leg but it now seems he will only be in plaster for the next 48 hours.

I would have thought he must be very doubtful for the third Test but you would have ask the doctors about that.

It was one of the toughest matches I have ever played in - very physical. I am starting to feel the bumps and bruises now.

Some people have said Australia's intercept try at the start of the second half was the crucial score.

Slip away

But I do not agree. That only made it 11-11 and the game could still have gone either way.

The score after that was the killer.

We messed up a scrum and committed everyone on one side. It was disappointing.

That is when the match started to slip away from us.

Australia's margin of victory is not a worry. I really do not think anyone should be too alarmed by that.

Remember, we beat them by 16 points, they won this one by 21. So the difference is five points which is not a big deal.

What matters is that the series is all square and what we face now is a final - the winners take all.

I think it is a lot easier to concentrate on one game instead of three.

So we will sit down and take stock of the situation.

Yes, we are frustrated about what happened in the second half.

But the Lions have shown they have what it takes to come back fighting and grab victory in the third Test in Sydney.
