| Football Focus' Wembley tribute The Twin Towers will soon be lost to Wembley If you watched Football Focus on Saturday 7 October, you will have seen a special tribute to Wembley Stadium and a montage of some of the most enduring images seen at the venue of legends. These ranged from Fanny Blankers Koen winning gold at the 1948 Olympics to the stadium's first FA Cup Final which saw Billy the white horse single handedly clearing the pitch of tens of thousands of spectators. Wembley has also hosted events as wide-ranging as chariot racing, ski jumping and Live Aid. Naturally England's finest hour, the 1966 World Cup Final, features heavily, but if you were not sure what some of the pictures were, below we have the full list.
