The Welsh visitors took a deserved lead with a snappy early try from Arthur Howarth, converted by Jamie Webb. However the Reds got their act together to lead 28-7 by half-time thanks to tries from David Hilton, Steve Griffiths and Mark McKenzie. They continued to have the better of things in the second half, taking the score to 38-17 before Cross Keys hit back with a penalty try and scores from Glenn Stroud and Keith Stewart.
Glasgow coach Richie Dixon insists his side have to keep the same form for future matches. He said: "We want to make this into a place where the Welsh teams don't like to come."
