Keys' misery continues

Cross Keys 11-27 Caerphilly

Caerphilly won the league's basement battle against Cross Keys at Pandy Park this afternoon despite finishing the game with only 13 men.

Alfe Moculuto was sent off in the first half for a late tackle and then towards the end of the game Matt Williams was sin-binned.

Nevertheless Caerphilly were good value for their victory and Cross Keys are still looking for their first point of the season.

Number eight Andrew Williams led the way for the Castletown team with two touchdowns while lock Mark Workman crossed the line as well.

All the tries were converted by Chris John who also landed two penalties.

Andrew Gibbs crossed for an unconverted try for the Keys with Chad Bushell putting over two penalties.

Caerphilly led 24-6 at half time and although their advantage was narrowed in the second period they still very much held the upper hand.
