Nottingham is hosting the play-off finals weekend
Nottingham Panthers reached the Elite League play-off final thanks to a dramatic overtime winner against Sheffield Steelers in a thriller.
Steelers led through Ben Simon and Robert Dowd but Marc Levers and David-Alexandre Beauregard made it 2-2.
The second session was scoreless and Craig Kowalski saved Simon's penalty shot at the start of the third.
Jeff Heerema and Simon traded goals as regulation time ended 3-3 and Robert Lachowicz swept the winner home.
Panthers player-coach Corey Neilson said: "I am thrilled, our attitude was first-class tonight.
"This team just did not panic at two goals down and credit credit to them for coming through. Our neminder (Kowalski) was awesome and I am so proud of all the guys."
Steelers player-coach Simon added: "We gave everything we had in the tank tonight but Panthers were the better side.
"We just came up a little short but I am still proud of what we have done this season."
