There was heartbreak for Leicester Ladies as they were beaten 3-2 by Reading in the final of the Premier Division play-offs in Cannock.
Jo Ellis put Reading ahead after four minutes and that was cancelled out by Becky Herbert three minutes later.
Kate Walsh put Reading ahead again from a penalty corner and that was added to two minutes before half-time by captain Emma Thomas for a two-goal lead.
Leicester pulled a goal back through Anne Panter but Reading held on.
