A bogey-free six-under-par round of 64 gave Stewart Cink a one-shot lead after the first round of the Colonial tournament in Fort Worth. Cink, who has not won on the PGA Tour since 2004, began with three birdies and reached the turn at five under par, adding another birdie at the 14th. Stephen Ames, Bubba Watson, Arron Oberholser, Charley Hoffman and Zach Johnson lie one shot behind Cink. Peter Lonard, Mike Weir and Kenny Perry were in a group a further shot behind.
