Reid's victory in Turkey was maiden European Tour title victory

Derbyshire's Melissa Reid continued her fine recent form to share a three-way tie for the lead after the opening round of the Tenerife Ladies Open.

The 23-year-old shot six birdies and an eagle in her six-under-par 66 to move into an early clubhouse lead, along with Finland's Ursula Wikstrom.

The pair were eventually joined by France's Virginie Lagoutte Clement.

Reid, who is attached to Chevin golf club in Duffield, won the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open in May.
