Rory McIlroy dropped to second place in the Race to Dubai money standings after finishing 12 under at the Portugal Masters following a final round of 66. McIlroy carded eight birdies but ended with a double-bogey at the 18th hole. England's Lee Westwood won the tournament on 23 under to move to the top of the European Order of Merit. Padraig Harrington was third on 19 under, Gareth Maybin dropped to 13 under after a round of 74 and Darren Clarke fired a 71 to lie 10 under. A round of 67 from Dubliner Harrington helped him move up the leaderboard and he ended just two shots behind runner-up Francesco Molinari. Maybin's disappointing final round included two birdies and four bogeys as he finished on the same score as Paul McGinley, who recorded a 68 on Sunday. Shane Lowry registered a 70 to lie 12 under but Peter Lawrie fell back to 11 under with a 76. Clarke posted two birdies and a bogey in his round while Damien McGrane was a shot worse off than the Dungannon man on nine under. Graeme McDowell and Gary Murphy both missed the halfway cut.
