Rory McIlroy has cemented a place in the world's top 20

Rory McIlroy will begin his USPGA Championship challenge in the company of Martin Kaymer and Jim Furyk at 1355 BST in Chaska, Minnesota, on Thursday.

Graeme McDowell plays with Robert Allenby and Dustin Johnson at 1405 and Darren Clarke partners Charles Howell III and Ryan Benzel at 1845.

Defending champion Padraig Harrington plays with Tiger Woods and Rich Beem, starting at the 10th hole at 1435.

McIlroy's group will also begin their opening round at the 10th.

McDowell and Clarke will commence their rounds at the first hole at the Hazeltine Golf Club for the final major championship of the season.

Clarke is the first of the Irish players out on day two, with a 1335 BST start, followed by McIlroy at 1905, McDowell at 1915 and Harrington at 1945.
