 O'Hair has a convincing lead |
Sean O'Hair survived a windy test at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to head the leaderboard by five shots going into the final round on Sunday. Despite three bogeys in the last four holes, the American has a convincing lead over compatriot Tiger Woods. Woods, the defending champion, was fortunate to be that close after an untidy finish at the Bay Hill Club. The five-time winner sank bogey putts of 10 feet and 25 feet on the last three holes to stay in touch. Jason Gore was poised to join Woods on two under until he three-putted from five feet on the final hole for a double bogey. Former Masters champion Zach Johnson started the third round nine shots off the lead but managed to shoot a 68 to ensure he plays in the final group with O'Hair and Woods. O'Hair and Woods were part of a five-way tie after 54 holes last year, with Woods winning on the last hole thanks to a 25-foot birdie. Irishman Padraig Harrington fell off the pace with a round of three over to leave him one over par.
