Rory McIlroy in action at the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens

Holywood teenager Rory McIlroy fired a final round of one-under-par 69 at the Honda Classic in Florida on Sunday to end the tournament on two under.

McIlroy carded six birdies and five bogeys in his closing 18 holes.

Like McIlroy, Darren Clarke started the day on one under but finished on three over after a four-over-par 74.

The Dungannon man bogeyed the first hole, birdied the third, had a double-bogey at the eighth, a bogey at the 10th and a bogey at the 12th hole.
