 Graeme McDowell carded four birdies in his final round |
Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell both ended the Quinn Insurance British Masters on two over after Sunday's final round at The Belfry. Holywood's McIlroy slipped 26 places to tied 39th after a four-over-par 76 while Graeme McDowell finished with a 71 on his return from the Ryder Cup. Dubliner Paul McGinley was three shots further back after a 77 while Peter Lawrie had a 73 to end eight over. Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano beat Lee Westwood in a play-off to win.
