Day four: The Wanamaker Trophy is up for grabs but it will be a long day as many players have still to play their third rounds It's an early start for Justin Rose, who did not start his third round on Saturday because of torrential downpours But the Englishman encounters trouble at the 11th hole, carding a triple bogey and sliding down the leaderboard Open champion Padraig Harrington is one of the day's big movers, surging up the leaderboard with a third-round, four-under 66 Fellow Ryder Cup contender Henrik Stenson cards a solid third round with a two-under 68 to remain in contention for his first major But American Ben Curtis storms to the top of the leaderboard with a two-under 68 from his third round His lead is snatched by Sergio Garcia, who begins his final round with an eagle and two birdies from his first six holes Garcia is joined at the top of the leaderboard by Harrington (left), who cards three birdies in the first four holes of back nine Phil Mickelson makes a move with three straight birdies early in his final round but the American slips up on the back nine Colombia's Camilo Villegas gets within sight of the leaders with a string of birdies Curtis remains the best hope of an American winner and joins Harrington and Garcia in a three-way battle for the title Garcia leads by one going into 16th but then finds the water, while Harrington makes par then birdies the 17th The Irishman then makes an 18-foot par on the final hole to win the USPGA by two shots from Garcia and Curtis It has been a tremendous two years for Harrington who picks up third major
