Eoin Arthurs won the East of Ireland Amateur Open

Forrest Little's Eoin Arthurs won the East of Ireland Amateur Open at County Louth's Baltray links on Monday.

The 24-year-old had been three behind fellow Dubliner Dara Lernihan entering the final 36 holes but rounds of 69 and 71 gave him a four-stroke win on 282.

Lernihan tied for runners-up spot on 286 with Cathal O'Malley of Westport.

Portstewart's Paul Cutler and Jonathan Caldwell of Clandeboye tied for fifth place on level-par 288 along with Shane Lowry of Esker Hills.
