 Le Chevalier won his fifth island amateur title |
Paul le Chevalier has won the 56th Jersey Amateur Golf Championship. Le Chevalier, who represented Europe in the Bentley Continental Cup, beat island junior captain Sam Crenan 2 and 1 at the Royal Jersey on Sunday. It is the fifth time that Le Chevalier has won the title to cement his place as one of Jersey's top golfers. Teenager Crenan was one of three of the island's best young players to qualify for the tournament alongside Nick House and Harrison Steel.
