Catriona Matthew finished the Sybase Classic with a sizzling 67

Britain's Catriona Matthew finished as runner-up to world number one Lorena Ochoa at the rain-affected LPGA Sybase Classic in New Jersey.

The Scot carded a final-round 67 to finish nine under at the tournament shortened to 54 holes because of torrential downpours.

Mexico's Ochoa ended on 10 under to claim her sixth win of the year.

Sweden's Annika Sorenstam - who will retire at the end of the year - finished tied for 11th position.
