Geoff Ogilvy held a one-shot lead over fellow Australian Adam Scott when the third round of the WGC-CA Championship was suspended because of rain.
Ogilvy ended the day on 14 under, three shots ahead of world number one Tiger Woods, who has played 11 holes.
Woods was level par after a bogey at the second and a birdie at the 7th.
Play was called off for the day because of heavy rain and thunder in Miami, meaning the third round will be completed on Sunday morning.
Ogilvy, the 2006 US Open champion, made birdies at the 7th and 9th.

Scott was in excellent form after firing a four-under 32 on the front nine, including an eagle three at the 1st, as he picked up five shots in five holes.
Woods, who is chasing his eighth straight tournament victory, made a disappointing start, missing birdie putts on the first two holes to fall further behind.
Fiji's Vijay Singh, who was nine shots behind at the start of the third round, was eight under for his round after 16 holes and three shots off the lead when play was suspended.
"I was scoring OK but I didn't hit the ball very well off the tee the first 11 holes," said Ogilvy.
"(Tiger's) hitting it very well. He just didn't putt like he normally putts.
"He had a weird three-putt on the 2nd; after that, he hit good putt after good putt - and they just didn't go in.
"It's just one of those stretches that's probably frustrating the hell out of him, but he's playing fine.
"Tiger was getting frustrated with his putter; I was getting frustrated with my ball striking."
