 Rose has risen to sixth in the world rankings |
England's Justin Rose has climbed one place to sixth in the latest golf world rankings released on Monday. Rose returns to action this week at Tiger Woods' Target World Challenge with Ernie Els next in his sights.
South African Els remains in fifth after a triple-bogey eight on the 18th hole cost him glory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship on Sunday.
Rose is joined in California by Open Champion Padraig Harrington, former winner Luke Donald and Woods himself.

Woods will be playing for the first time since the Presidents Cup in September, and the 13-times Major winner still leads the world rankings.
Fellow compatriots Phil Mickleson, Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker make up the chasing pack, with Els and Rose in fifth and sixth.
Rose, 27, is having quite some year, winning the 2007 European PGA Tour Order of Merit title for the first time after victory in the season-ending Volvo Masters.
