| Wolverhampton golfer Peter Baker returned to European Tour action down under with a stunning four-under 68 at the Mastercard Masters in Melbourne. Baker only won back his Tour card last month after finishing in the top 20 of the 2007 Challenge Tour. The former Shropshire amateur was the best of Thursday's later starters at a breezy Huntingdale and lies just one stroke off leader Robert Allenby. Baker picked up four birdies in six holes from the 4th to go out in 32.
