 Becky Brewerton returns to home soil this week |
Wales' Becky Brewerton is hoping that the home crowds will help her to cement a place in next month's European Solheim Cup Team Brewerton takes part in the Wales Ladies Championship of Europe, at Machynys Golf Club starting today.
It offers Ladies European Tour players one last chance to impress before the European Team is announced next week.
"I can't deny that The Solheim Cup has been on the back of my mind," said Brewerton.

"I'm very excited and it's nice to be back in Wales and on a course that I have good memories from last year.
"I'm playing well. I've had a lot of top ten's this year and I managed to get my first win so I have a lot of confidence."
The 24-year-old from Abergele is in line to become the first Welsh woman to qualify for a place on The European Solheim Cup side to play America in Sweden on September 11.
She currently occupies fourth place in the points' list for automatic selection, from which the top five will qualify on Sunday.
Earlier this year she won her maiden LET title - the Ladies English Open - in July.
Brewerton finished tied for fifth in the Welsh event last year and in addition to her maiden victory she has also posted a further four top tens this year.
European Team captain Helen Alfredsson names her squad on August 21, and the �350,000 event is the last chance for Europe's golfers to impress her.
Other Welsh representation comes in the form of Becky Morgan but Newport's Eleanor Pilgrim has pulled out.
