Italian Alessandro Pissilli has tested positive for a banned substance just two weeks after Gary Player claimed some players were taking drugs. Pissilli, who plays on the Italian professional tour, tested positive for the diuretic Finasteride after an event on 29 June.
Finasteride is used to treat hair loss but can also mask steroid use.
Player spoke out on the eve of The Open and said two players had personally told him they were taking drugs.
