Lee Westwood will take a one-shot lead into the final day of the Andalucia Open after carding a third-round 65.

The Englishman, who set a course record 64 in the second round, is on 15 under, one stroke ahead of Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano.

Westwood had seven birdies and an eagle but ended his round with two bogeys in the final two holes.

"I was trying to make birdie not bogey, but I'm not particularly bothered. These things happen," he said.

"On the last two holes I short-sided myself and it's just one of those things you have to accept.

"I was pleased with the way I played. I didn't hit the ball as well as I would have liked but it was nice to hole a few putts for a change."

South African Louis Oosthuizen, who led after the opening two rounds, had a round of 69 and is level with Michael Jonzon on 13 under.

England's Phillip Archer had seven birdies in a round of 66 and is four shots behind Westwood.
