Rose is 34th in the world rankings |
England's Justin Rose is one of seven players to have earned a late invitation to next week's Masters. Rose, Paul Goydos and Bart Bryant all qualify by being the three players in the world top 50 who were not already exempt for Augusta.
The other four - Charles Howell, John Rollins, Aaron Baddeley and Mark Calcavecchia - qualified by being in the PGA Tour's top 10.
Rose will be making his first appearance at Augusta since 2004.
But the 26-year-old has missed his last three scheduled appearances with back trouble.
About 97 of the 107 players invited are expected to compete at Augusta, with officials expecting that 10 ageing past champions will decline to play.
Five amateurs and 18 first-time players will also take to the first tee on 5 April.
World number one Tiger Woods, who won last week's event at Doral, is favourite to claim his fifth Masters title and 13th major crown overall.
It would be his third major in a row after winning last year's Open and PGA Championship.
