THIRD ROUND LEADERBOARD
(GB&I unless stated):

-13 P Harrington
-12 S Kapur (Ind), MA Jiminez (spa), P Hansen (Swe)
-11 P Price
-10 R Goosen (SA) A Forsyth (54), J-F Lucquin (fra), T Jaidee (Tha)

Padraig Harrington grabbed a birdie on the final hole of his third round to move one shot clear in the Abu Dhabi Championship going into the final day.

The Irishman took until the 18th before snatching sole leadership with a four-under-par 68 to move to 13 under.

Overnight leader Phillip Price carded bogeys on the first, third, 14th and 16th to slip to 11 under.

Harrington said: "I've done well - but I''m not going to look at anyone or anything other than myself."

Swede Peter Hanson fired a six-under 66 to join Miguel Angel Jimenez and Shiv Kapur on 12 under.

Paul Casey also enjoyed his best round of the tournament so far to put himself back in contention.

Sometimes it's good to keep your head down and play your own game

The Englishman did not drop a shot in carding five birdies for a five-under 67 and is three shots off the lead with a 10-under 206 overall.

Tournament debutant Retief Goosen made up for a disappointing display on Friday to join Casey on 10 under after holing six birdies and two bogeys for a four-under-par 68.

Defending champion Chris DiMarco enjoyed his best display yet to move to nine under par overall.

Harrington added: "I haven't managed to see a scoreboard once until the 18th green each day, so I won't be looking at one individual out there.

"There are a couple of guys who can win this tournament, so I'm going to focus on my game and hopefully play nice and solidly and make them work hard to win it.

"Sometimes it's good to keep your head down and play your own game."

The 38-year-old had made an indifferent start after his first nine holes, with a birdie on the ninth and par on the rest, but three birdies on the back nine ensured he shot a four-under 68 to remain in touch with the leaders.

Meanwhile, Nick Dougherty slipped down the leaderboard after managing just a two-under 70.
