Peter Baker earned the right to tee up at Carnoustie for the Open later this month with a fine display in the 36-hole Open qualifying at Sunningdale. Wolverhampton star Baker carded two rounds of 68 to finish four-under par and become one of the 16 out of 120 players who made it through.
Baker, club professional at South Staffordshire Golf Club, will now take his place at the event from 19-22 July.
Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell came out on top, carding 67 and 64.
England's Nick Dougherty and Ross Fisher and Scot Alastair Forsyth were also among the qualifiers.
