Paul Casey and Robert Karlsson have earned themselves a shot at the �1m first prize on offer at the World Match Play at Wentworth. They qualify as the leading players on the European Tour Order of Merit not already in the 16-man field.
They will face competition from Tiger Woods, Luke Donald and six-time winner Ernie Els.
Defending champion Michael Campbell is also in the field, as are Jim Furyk, Colin Montgomerie and David Howell.
Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, US Open champion Geoff Ogilvy and Chris DiMarco turned down their invitations.
