Phil Mickelson
Mickelson won't stop going for broke but he needs snookers now
"There are a lot of low scores out there. I just need to get one of them."
Phil Mickelson has not given up just yet, although at six shots back it will take a very low score indeed for Lefty to add to his three major titles at Medinah on Sunday.

"I know everybody's expectations are that he's going to go out and win the championship, because he's done it so many times from the front, but there's always time to stop the streak. So hopefully, I can do it."
Canada's Mike Weir manages to expertly sum up the mood of Medinah on Saturday whilst also managing to sound vaguely optimistic. There are no prizes for guessing who the "he" is.

"I've not really contended in a major before. This will be a little different pressure, but it's what I practise for. It will be fun."
Luke Donald says what all golfers say before playing with Tiger Woods - he says it will be "fun". Let's hope he makes it look more fun than the rest of them have.

"It does not feel like a major - normally you are mostly making pars, but here you've needed a bunch of birdies."
Tiger Woods forgets that it is exactly like a major in one regard - he is leading going into the final round.

"You know, he doesn't want to ruin that record and maybe I can use that to my advantage and just kind of sneak by without anyone noticing and pick up the trophy tomorrow."
Luke Donald reveals that he is going to try to beat Tiger Woods without anybody noticing at Medinah on Sunday. A neat trick if he can pull it off.

"You know, they're all luck."
American veteran Joey Sindelar tries to reassure casual golfers everywhere that 241-yard three-woods for albatrosses are complete flukes. It would be nice to be that lucky.

"When I played a practice round I said it was perfect for Luke (Donald) and I told him when I saw him in the players' lounge."
Ian Poulter reveals his role in boosting Luke Donald's pre-tournament confidence. But did you put your money where your mouth was, Ian?
