Sergio Garcia is the latest big name to confirm his participation in this month's Scottish Open. The Spaniard joins Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Colin Montgomerie in the field for the tournament at Loch Lomond that starts on 13 July.
"It has been several years since I have participated in the event and I'm looking forward to playing. It should be a fantastic week," he said.
Garcia finished top amateur in 1998 and joint second overall in 1999.
The Scottish Open is the final European Tour event before The Open gets underway at Hoylake on 20 July.
South Africa's Tim Clark was the winner of last year's event at Loch Lomond.
