Montgomerie says he is not worried about his recent poor form
Colin Montgomerie says he is not worried about his poor form in the run-up to Thursday's Asian Open.

Nick Faldo, 2004 Asian Open champion Miguel Angel Jimenez and Thomas Bjorn are also in the field at the Tomson Pudong Golf Club in Shanghai.

Montgomerie missed three cuts, including the Masters, while in the US but is not letting it get him down.

"Augusta was very disappointing with the putter for the 14th year in a row but never mind," he said.

"I've been there and done it and it doesn't affect me either way. We'll get going here and see what's what."

The English duo of Luke Donald and David Howell, ranked 10th and 18th in the world respectively, have pulled out because of injury.

Sweden's Henrik Stenson, 30, is also struggling for form after a disappointing Masters display.

"It's been a bit of a struggle. I have not been swinging it well and have not been able to place the ball where I want to," he said.

"At the Masters, I had a bad finish on the first day on the last two holes and I lost my patience, and you can't do that at Augusta."
