 Woods won six PGA Tour events last season |
World number one Tiger Woods has retained the Mark H McCormack Award. The honour is presented to the player who holds the number one position in the world rankings for the greatest number of weeks in each calendar year.
The 30-year-old Woods won six PGA Tour titles last year, including the Masters and Open Championship.
After briefly losing his number one ranking to Fiji's Vijay Singh, he took it back on 7 March and has occupied top spot for a total of 388 weeks.
Woods first become world number one for the first time on 15 June 1997.
The award was established to honour the late Mark McCormack for the role he played in creating a world ranking system for professional golf.
