Englishman Graham Storm and three US stars have become the latest players to qualify for The Open at St Andrews. Storm picked up a place as the leading non-exempt player at the European Open after coming second to Kenneth Ferrie.
And Billy Mayfair qualified in a similar manner for coming fourth at the Western Open behind already-selected Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods and Ben Curtis.
Meanwhile, Bart Bryant and Pat Perez booked their berths by finishing high in the latest PGA Tour money list.
There are now 142 players confirmed for the field of 156.
The remaining 14 will come from the Barclays Scottish Open, the John Deere Classic and from local final qualifying.
