Darren Clarke to remain at home with ill wife
Darren Clarke has withdrawn from next week's Singapore Open to spend more time with his sick wife.

The Ulsterman had been one of a number of top names lined up for the championship at Sentosa Golf Club.

However, Clarke's wife Heather has been unwell for some time and he felt it was necessary to remain at home.

"Naturally we are disappointed, but we fully understand. We wish him all the best at this time," said Graham Bell, the chairman of the Singapore Open.
