| Defending champion Vaughn Taylor continued to set the pace with a round of 67 to lead on 13 under after the second round of the Reno-Tahoe Open. Taylor's round was spoiled by a bogey at his final hole and he lies one shot ahead of Todd Fischer. Bill Glasson is three behind Taylor after firing a superb 10-under 62. Sweden's Jesper Parnevik (68) and Fredrik Jacobson (70) are nine under while Britain's Justin Rose (70) is two under but Phillip Price missed the cut.
