New US Open champion Michael Campbell will head the field when the European Open tees off in Ireland on 30 June. The 36-year-old Kiwi joins Ryder Cup stars Paul Casey, Padraig Harrington, Colin Montgomerie, Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood at the �2.3m event.
Also playing at the K Club, the venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup, are respective captains Ian Woosnam and Tom Lehman.
Other big names in attendance include defending champion Retief Goosen, Angel Cabrera, Thomas Bjorn and Brian Davis.
