 | THIRD ROUND LEADERBOARD US unless stated -11 Sergio Garcia (Spa) -9 Jerry Kelly -8 Tiger Woods, Deane Pappas (SA) -7 Luke Donald (GB), Briny Baird, Duffy Waldorf, Dudley Hart, Vijay Singh (Fij), Mark O'Meara |
Spain's Sergio Garcia moved into a two-stroke lead at the Byron Nelson Championship in Texas after a scintillating third round. Garcia, who has not won on the US Tour for two years, hit every green for his five-under par 65 as overnight leader Tiger Woods could only manage par.
The world number one now lies three strokes off the pace in a share of third place with Deane Pappas.
Woods' countryman, Jerry Kelly, is a shot ahead in second place outright.
Woods' round was hampered by some erratic driving. He bogeyed two of his first five holes to surrender the lead but managed to keep in the hunt.
It is the second consecutive week Woods has led at the halfway point only to lose his advantage.
Garcia's round marked an impressive resurgence for the Spaniard, who spent much of last year revamping his swing.

He carded six birdies and just one bogey on the fourth hole after three-putting from 31 feet.
Afterwards he said: "I gave myself a lot of chances but the putter wasn't quite there.
"Today I really feel I should be leading by quite a lot more. I left a lot of chances out there, but I'm happy to be in the lead.
"I played nicely all day long. I've been working very hard on my game and it's nice to see how much consistency I've got from all that practicing. As soon as I start making putts, it should be fun."
Luke Donald leads British hopes in a tie for fifth at seven-under following his impressive round of 64.
