Schofield eyes Ryder review
Ken Schofield
Outgoing European Tour chief Ken Schofield has hinted the current Ryder Cup qualifying format will be reassessed after this year's event.

England's Luke Donald and Swedish pair Carl Pettersson and Jesper Parnevik are set to miss selection because they will not have played 11 European events.

"If it is going to disadvantage future teams or individuals I am sure it will be reviewed," he told BBC Five Live.

"The minimum requirement is always something that has been reviewed."

Schofield added: "I have absolutely no doubts that before I leave in December it will be reviewed again."
