|  Faldo is hoping to win selection to Europe's Ryder Cup team |
Nick Faldo will join Thomas Bjorn, Ian Woosnam and Colin Montgomerie at the first Volkswagen Masters in Beijing. The Europeans will contest the �170,000 event from 29 April at Pine Valley Golf Club, which may be a venue at the 2008 Olympics if the sport wins inclusion. Faldo is stepping up his quest for Ryder Cup points ahead of Europe's showdown with the USA in September. Montgomerie returns to Asia buoyed by a March win at Singapore's Caltex Masters that ended his 16-month title drought.
