England's Karen Stupples holds a two-shot lead at the halfway stage of the ANZ Ladies Masters in Australia.

Making her debut on the European tour, she carded a five-under-par 67 to move to nine under at Royal Pines.

Australia's Anne-Marie Knight and Jennifer Rosales of the Philippines are joint second on seven under.

First-round leader Rachel Teske of Australia is tied fourth with Sweden's Annika Sorenstam, with Britain's Laura Davies a shot further back.

"The winds were very difficult," said Stupples, who has only one bogey in two rounds.

"I hit quite a few greens and my only bogey came when I hit it in the water (on the 13th), so I feel very lucky to come out with just a single."
