Lehman: Two shots ahead of Fred Couples

Tom Lehman matched the PGA Tour's 36-hole scoring record to lead the Invensys Classic in Las Vegas by two shots.

Lehman shot a bogey-free 10-under-par 62 after his 63 on the opening day to reach 19 under at 125 in the five-round event.

Lehman's 36-hole total tied the Tour record set by Tiger Woods at the 2000 NEC Invitational.

Fred Couples was in second spot after adding to his opening day 63 with an eight-under 64.

John Daly also shot a 62 but was joined in third spot by Chris DiMarco, who birdied his final hole to complete a 61.
