Sing when you're winning, Fergie |
With the Champions League up and running and the Ashes bubbling into a thrilling climax, we want to hear your sporting tales - like those featured below.
Have you spotted a footballer in your local newsagents, had your picture taken with a famous sports star or heard a funny sporting story?
Perhaps you and your mates have recreated your goal of the week in the local park on your camera phone, or maybe you want to share an amusing spoof email doing the rounds.
The best examples will be used in a new feature, 'Your Sporting Week', with the pick of the bunch attracting a tasty prize!
Send in your thoughts using the postform on the right or send photo and video attachments to sport.pics@bbc.co.uk, ensuring you label your email 'Your Sporting Week'.
Here's some of the emails we've been sent this week
(and we reckon you can do a lot better):
Emergency Ward
Danny Morrissey writes: "I went to Faces nightclub in Essex last Saturday and bumped into West Ham defender Elliott Ward. I was a bit 'long and wrong' and proceeded to tell him how my Saturday league team had lost 7-1, while the Hammers nicked a point at Newcastle.
"I dont think he was too bothered. Despite this, I asked him for some tips. I saw him later that night and he ingored me...funny that."
Hard Toffee
Colin Richards in Wales claims he spotted Craig Bellamy of Blackburn enjoying The Big Weekend festival in Cardiff, while Rusty in England sent the following joke in the wake of Everton's Champions League exit:
 Why hello Sir Alex! |
"Sky have just confirmed that following the success of the recent Liverpool European programme called 'One Night In May', they are to do a similar programme for Everton's European exploits this season called 'Two Nights In August'."
And finally, daft email of the week from someone calling themselves Studnamara.
Red Devil
Stud writes: "Apparently at Mikael Silvestre's birthday bash a couple of weeks back, Sir Alex Ferguson went on the karaoke and sang Honey To The Bee by Billie Piper - and even knew the words off by heart."
If only that were true! Now if it was a Proclaimers record we might just believe you.
Get the idea? Remember, we want your amusing...
