Sheffield United have agreed a new three-year contract with striker Richard Cresswell. The 32-year-old joined the Blades last September from Stoke City, scoring 12 goals in just 24 appearances. Cresswell told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I'm obviously over the moon. It's nice to follow in the footsteps of Chris Morgan and Nick Montgomery." The new deal keeps Cresswell at Bramall Lane until the summer of 2013, extending his contract by two-years.
