Barnsley have agreed a deal with Stoke to keep Ryan Shotton and Carl Dickinson on loan until the end of the season. Defenders Shotton, 21, and Dickinson, 22, have been on loan with the Reds since the end of September having made 13 appearances each. The pair's original loan spell with Barnsley was set to end on Boxing Day but will now be extended when the transfer window re-opens in January. Neither Shotton or Dickinson will be available to face Middlesbrough.
